Turtle sland 靈龜島

Did you know what is Turtle Island? Turtle Island is the way that the indigenous people call North America. There are many kind of story for Turtle Island,but they all mean the same.I am going to share a story to you.

 你知道什麼是靈龜島嗎？靈龜島是原住民對北美的稱呼。關於靈龜島的故事有很多種，但它們的意思都是一樣的。我來跟大家分享一個故事。

The story of Turtle Island 靈龜島的故事

In a long time ago,there was only ocean animals and sky animals . One day is time for Mother Earth to bring new creature to the world,but Mother Earth don’t want the new creature live in the ocean or the sky.The animals want to help Mother Earth,they tell Mother Earth a story about cloud and the land.The animals said＂Put the cloud on a animal back,then the animal will grown big and big and finally will be a land,but we forget which kind of animal!＂"Every animals should try !＂said Mother Earth .Most of the animal try,but they didn’t be a land.The last animal to try is turtle,the turtle slowly put the cloud on his back. ＂He did it. "the dolphin said it loudly.The turtle srart to grown big and big ,finally be a land.Is a home for the new creature!

 
 在很久以前，只有海洋動物和天空動物。有一天，地球母親會將新生物帶到世界上，但地球母親不希望新生物生活在海洋或天空。動物們想幫助地球母親，他們給地球母親講了一個關於雲和土地的故事。動物們說「把雲放在動物的背脊，動物就會越來越大，最後變成陸地，但我們忘了是哪種動物了!」地球母親說：「每個動物都應該嘗試！」大多數動物都嘗試過，但牠們都沒有變成陸地。最後嘗試的動物是烏龜，烏龜慢慢把雲放在他的背上 。海豚大聲地說：「他做到了！」 烏龜開始越來越大，最後成為一片土地。是新生物的家！

Actually Turtle Island not just the way the indigenous people call North America,the shape of North America is also look like a turtle.Let’s see!
